Boys’ U13, boys’ U11 and girls’ U11 will each admit up to 48 players. Selection will use the national junior rankings on the entry deadline date and registration order, with excess applicants placed on a waiting list.
The Small Ball Sports Management Center of China’s General Administration of Sport announced on August 31, 2026 that entry limits would be increased for three divisions of the 2026 National Junior Squash U Series in Shanghai. Boys’ U13, boys’ U11 and girls’ U11 will each admit up to 48 players.
Players will be selected according to the national junior squash rankings as of the entry deadline date and the order in which they registered. Applicants beyond the entry limits will join a waiting list. If a player withdraws before the match schedule is published, waiting-list players may enter in order.
The adjustment follows a supplementary notice issued on August 7, 2026 and reflects registration levels in the respective divisions. The stated aims are to support junior squash development, strengthen the pathway for young players and develop the tournament’s profile.
